Hannah Herschend is a Brooklyn based dance artist and filmmaker. Hannah graduated from Bard College in 2024 with degrees in dance and sociology. She is interested in the body’s instincts and desires, and the body as both a physical and imaginary structure. Hannah is currently fascinated by allegories, frames, and other simple containers for meaning. 

Hannah is the recipient of the Ana Itleman prize for choreography and the Don Parker prize for dance. Her films have screened at the Mill Valley International festival and the NFFTY in Seattle.
